God View - The connection between forgivness and God's Character, as shown through God's Big Story

No matter how much we mess up, God will always forgive us. Jesus even chose to forgive those who were crucifying Him. Because God forgives us, we should work hard to forgive others. We can decide that someone who has wronged us doesn’t have to pay. With God’s help, we can free ourselves from the weight of anger and bitterness, while giving the other person an opportunity to rewrite the story.

Memory Verse:
”Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forigive, just as the Lord forgave you.” | Colossians 3:13

Week Two

Theme: Relationship Red Flags

Big Idea: This four-week series for youth and adults explores “red flags” in our relationships. The Bible provides wisdom for successful relationships and behaviors, identifying characteristics that are harmful to us and others. By understanding the life of Samson and the scriptural warnings against selfishness, anger, and deception, we can grasp the things we should avoid in our relationships with others.
